Becoming indispensable will drive your money increase make it so that everyone turns to you for advice, looks at you for guidance, comes to you to drive results.

People often ask

” how can you prepare to have attest sales day ”

” you don’t know what’s going to happen ”

” you might not speak to anyone today who wants to buy”

I hear this daily and all the time at open a question events I host!!

The first and last answer I will always give is the same over and over again!!!

” I never speak to anyone who wants to buy my product, I never speak to someone who wants what “my” company is trying to offer ”

I only have one piece of advice for preparation and its you, yourself, the person you see in the mirror.

People don’t buy what your offering they buy purely on the emotion you about to give them .

You only ever sell yourself so how do you prepare

The tips I can give are simple!!

1.never believe ever ever that your going to walk in and sell to everyone your going to speak too! Your not your focus needs to be that every person you speak to is classed to you as a successful call!! A successful call to me is someone just picking up the phone or even speaking to an answer machine that’s a success.

2. When you do speak to someone don’t throw everything at them, listen to them take in what there saying then speak to them based on there wants and needs

3. Be yourself don’t try to be anyone else you are you and remember you can only sell one thing YOU.

4. The most important you have two ears for listening and one mouth for speaking for gods sake use your ears wisely this is where you can get everything you need!

Not a lot I have to say about FRIDAY

IT CAN BE TAKEN IN 2 ways!

STEP 1 – make it profitable everyone who tells you there all about making money always look at Friday’s and think well I’ve done ok between Monday and Thursday I’ll take today as my day of rest IVE EARNT IT!!!

RUBBISH!! Any great sales person knows that potential client and companies feel the same, more relaxed, exciting for the weekend, ready to get that well deserved break!!
This is the perfect time to up your game make today better and better get stronger become better more productivity and profitability!

Step 2 – DONT BE ONE OF THOSE THAT SEES FRODAY AS A REST,

It’s your day so make it that way

So it’s Monday!!!!! Yesssssss

How are you going to make your money a easy sales day?

Are you going to wake up and wish you were still in bed

Are you going to wake up go to work and talk about what you did over the weekend

Or are you going to go in work and make selling easy

This is your choice

How many people have you heard say don’t worry it’s Monday we have all week to hit target????

How many times have you told yourself you will do it tomorrow!

Well think of it like this yes tomorrow will come and the next and the next day but you will never see today again it will be gone forever, and what will you turn round and say when someone asks what did you do on the 19th January 2015?? This is your blank canvas make of it what you will

Do you think billionaires turn round and say they will do it tomorrow, what if bill gates had said don’t worry I’ll make Microsoft tomorrow we may never of had it or of Steve jobs hadn’t met Steve wozniacki on that day because he would do it tomorrow

No one becomes successful by DOING IT TOMORROW..

There are people who will be thinking that though there will be many in your office in your life so how does this make a difference to your Monday?

How does this make a difference to easy sales?

Let’s imagine this there are 10 people in your office 5 of them are all about talking about the weekend, 2 of them are all about doing it tomorrow and one of them is off sick due to all the above?

This leaves 2 people ye the other 7 are going to be there in work but will they be actually working? HELLLL NOOO!

Make today your mission to succeed at the easy sales strategy, make it your mission to achieve more today than you have on any Monday before pick up all the leads you can give the best service you can remember people buy people, do more than anyone in your office and you will achieve success easily because others don’t want the leads don’t want to give the service, there the opposite you, there finding the easy way not to make sales achieve results and be the best????

I used to make the most sales on a Monday because not only are the Monday mundaners in your office there all over your industry?

This is known as the 80/20 rule shine it like this 20% of the people in your office including or excluding you which ever you choose will make 80% of the money today, as well as the whole of your industry 20% will make the 80% of the money

Make your choice right now?

Make it your desire to do better than you have ever done on a Monday!!!

Be part of the success of being in the privileged 20%!!!!!

Fear Uncertainty Doubt FUD

As part of the easy sales strategy you are looking to take away and change certain things of your MENTAL ATTITUDE,

If you think about the first time you picked up the phone or walked into a office or even met someone on a night out.

You will go through 3 FEELINGS

FEAR – fear is the biggest thing stopping people from achieving anything they have ever wanted, how many times do you tell yourself you can’t do something rather than telling yourself you can, think of it like this how many times have you seen someone and looked at there face and gone there nervous you can tell, look at there face, gosh look at him/her there scared to death. People can see and hear this feeling more than any other they can also feel it, fear is like a big red umbrella until it starts to rain you never see the brolly as soon a one droplet hits that’s it everyone sees your bright red brolly , this is you just as your about to take that first step into a sale. It’s the FEAR of the unknown

What I want you to do right now is think about what scares you the most about sales or meeting someone? What’s the worst thing they can say? What’s the worst thing they can do? How you will feel when what your not wanting to happen actual happens, think really think about it?

Scary isn’t it that feeling, that thought?

Wait a minute it’s not actually happened you have just thought about what’s going to happen

When you next go to make a sale or you meet some one think like this

What might they say?

“NO”

What might they do face to face

“Say no”

What might you feel?

“Said that they said no”

This is the worst that can happen they can just say no, how many times do you say no in a day, how many times do you think about saying no to some one.

Remember no matter what if they say no, they thank you for your time and say no or you feel sad they said no this is just a word you created by fear of them actually saying it.

This is something called paradoxical intention I will go into this later in the strategy but for now let me make it easy, tell yourself you don’t fear the word no tell yourself they will not say no and make yourself feel that the word no is something that will never make you sad or feel bad

Remember where will you be you wil still be sat in front of the phone? You will still be sat moving to your next appointment and you will get over the feeling of feeling sad.

Approach fear with a positive tell yourself you like the challenge of someone saying no.
Be positive don’t fear, fear, don’t be ruled by what fear creates.

At some point in your life you have over come fear you can do this again remember it’s just a phone or a person it’s not scary!

Uncertainty

Uncertainty is something we all feel,
Are you doing the right thing?
Are you saying it right?
Do you look ok?

This is uncertainty, this is the easiest thing to overcome, people who are uncertain are non decisive this means you can’t make a decision easy.

Want are you trying to do in any meeting whether work related or non work related, your trying to get them to make a decision there and then,

You physically cannot do this if you are uncertain yourself because the way you present yourself or the way you come across is UNCERTAIN!!!

Be certain, be powerful come across like you mean every word that if you was sat in the opposite chair you would make that decision now, there is no pint in thinking oh well they said they’ll do it tomorrow, tomorrow will never come because they will always feel uncertain rather than being certain it should happen now!!

Use strong positive words to overcome uncertainty

Drive
Deliver
Produce
Focused
Achieved
Grew
Developed
Influenced

These are all certain power words that will create the sale you want now, not tomorrow

DOUBT

GOOD OLD DOUBT

we all have this, we all go through it I went the light it a few days ago in deciding whether to do this

Will anyone read it ?

Will anyone ever see it?

Will people think I’m daft?

Will anyone learn anything?

The answer to doubt is very simple and very easy if you don’t do it you have let doubt beat you!

Don’t doubt yourself don’t doubt your ability

Am I good enough? Of course you are is there another YOU in this world? No thought now so yes you are the Bert of the best because you are own person and your biggest challenge is against yourself each day

Doubt is the short version of doubtful

Now take the word doubtful

Split it into 2 words

Doubt Full

Are you full of doubt?

Doubt can drown you, never let this happen create a positive don’t look at a negative be who you want to be and achieve what you want it’s your choice

Fear, uncertainty and doubt can be sales killers don’t let that happen.

Remember this is the easy sales strategy it’s about making it easy don’t let these hard thought cloud your way of being great

This is the beginning of my easy sales strategy, these will be easy to read easy to understand facts about sales and also about life, the easy sales blog strategy is designed for you to implement in booth your career and life,

The first thing I want to to explain is the 3 steps these are like your warm up areas, think about a footballer or any sportsman they don’t just run onto a pitch and play straight away they prepare they do a warm up then they start

This is exactly what I’m about to show you its your pre match ritual it’s what you should live by –

Step 1 – Read About It

What do you read about? When was the last time you read a book, visited a website and Actually sat and read about what it is you want to do and how to do it, by reading you gain knowledge its proven that knowledge will increase not sales but influence the more influence you have the more you can sell easy, try it try reading something today and see what you learn it may not be today it might not be next week but someday at some time you will answer a question or God something where you sit back and think wow I didn’t know I knew that . This is where reading comes into it for anyone looking to learn the art of sales or learn the art of attraction (I will go into this more in a later blog) I would advise you to take some time and read the secret then watch it on Netflix or any other video platform, what you will gain from this one book will help and create your future. The more you read and understand the more you will be able to use your knowledge and influence to per fect your craft.

STEP 2 –

Watch – what do you do when you start a job? What do you do when you sit down in a park, sit in your car, you sit and ultimately watch what’s going on around you, what if you could sit and take all the information in that’s going on around you, you could learn everything within seconds by just watching! Now this is something we cannot do we cant process like that in such a short space of time.

By sitting in your new job or a job you have been in a long time and watching the most successful people your brain will naturally start to adapt to what you are seeing you will start to mirror the successful people learning from everything they do and say, you will start to mirror there success just by watching. This is where the saying ” watch and learn ” comes from by absolutely focusing on the best you will become the best you will learn to be the best.

STEP 3 – ASK

PEOPLE fear this word, people fear asking for help, asking to borrow, asking for anything. The best sales people I have ever met have never been the people you can’t approach and “ask” they have always been the ones who actively say if you need anything just “ask”, it’s very simple by asking a question you will get an answer this is the same in anything you do, by asking a question you will achieve a piece of knowledge you didn’t have. You should never be afraid of asking if you don’t ask you cannot receive, if you don’t ask it will never happen, if you don’t ask you will never gain the things you want or need whether there material, spiritual or just about anything.

To start use the 3 steps this your warm up this is your opportunity to gain wealth knowledge but most off all a undying belief that you can and will achieve what it is you want.

MY SALES STORY

How many times a day do you sell or get sold too, think about it from buying a newspaper to being face to face or being on the phone you are always selling.

i started my sales story at the tender age of 5 or 6 I remember getting my dads decorating table throwing a bed sheet over it then getting my broken toys and lemonade and selling everything for 10p each just so I could get enough money to buy something from the ice cream man if I was lucky I may have enough to just get mr whippy rather than just normal ice cream. This was great I had no bills no stress no worry just the ambition to create enough money to get that ice cream. I think about those days a lot now and realise that this is where my love of sales took off and the reason I did well was not cause i had great toys or great mind bending powers of persuasion, it was down to one thing and one thing only my goal, my goal was the ice cream and nothing would get in my way of achieving that.

im guessing at this point you may be thinking why are you telling me this, what’s this got to do  with sales and easy sales at that, my answer to you is it has everything to do with that.

i have started this blog as everywhere I looked when I got in a sales job was very well written but very hard to understand, very well presented but felt it had nothing to do with what I was doing, I was trying to sell a product, a service, I thought why do they keep talking about me and what I do and how I do it, Why can’t someone just tell me how to sell my product well!! Famous last words!!

I started in sales after I finished college, this was in a bank it was on  a counter as a cashier my job was to take money from people then sell them credit cards and loans or meetings with customer advisors. Easy sales I told my self

everybody wants to have more money I said.

this was my downfall, people didn’t want the credit cards, people didn’t want the loans and people certainly didn’t want to sit and waste their precious time with some customer advisor who just sells them a credit card or a loan.

After 2 years of doing this and making little sales ( I only sold to the people who had genuinely come in looking for the card or loan or money advice) I decided I wanted to leave the banking world stay in finance just not banking. I was now 20 and had a beautiful daughter called Kelsea and a partner to die for called Lyndsey, these were my world. Lyndsey would always say to me I don’t know why you don’t think your  good at sales your great at it you make me love you more each day because you make me feel and see what you can do for me! THIS WAS LIKE A THUNDER BOLT TO ME!!!!!

EUREKA EUREKA

I HAD JUST REALISED, realised what all those people I researched were talking about, realised what each great sales person I had met had said, realised what each great book had told me

EASY SALES IS NOT ABOUT SELLING A PRODUCT OR A SERVICE, ITS NOT ABOUT HAVING THE GIFT OF THE GAB OR THE ABILITY TO TRY AND SELL PRODUCT AFTER PRODUCT AFTER PRODUCT. It was down to one thing and one thing only –

PEOPLE BUY FROM PEOPLE

People don’t buy a product or a service they don’t buy something because of a name that’s associated to it they buy it through the influence that someone at some point someone has made them see why they should have it.

I had started working at this point in the finance  sector not in banking but financé related, I had met with my managing director Charles and had discussed why I thought I would be good for the role, I had influenced Charles well enough to give me an opportunity, he had hummed and arrd about what to pay me he said that he didn’t know if I was worth 16k per year or 18k per year my answer obviously was none of them I’m not worth anything near that!! He asked me why and  I remember my response perfectly ” I’m not worth 16k im not worth 18k im worth to you easily 300k this year, I will make you that amount of money in sales and if I don’t you can pay me 16k commison free next year. His answer was simple his answer was true, 18k to start 300k a year target in new business and a very generous commision structure.

I remember walking onto the sales floor it was loud, noisy, it felt like my legs were shaking from a earthquake it was that loud. I can only describe it like a motorway in a rush hour noisy as hell everyone packed in one place but no one seems to move from there desks.

i sat next to the number one sales person on the floor and asked him lots of questions to which I got some answers but nothing that made me feel great until he asked me do you want to see what I earnt this month? My answer was of course yes the most i had earnt ever was 2k this included Christmas bonus, remember I did some easy sales with people who really just wanted it!

He pulled out a wage slip and showed me he had earned 8k in one month and was on for earning 60k that year, instantly my heart pumped quicker, my adrenaline kicked in, this is amazing !!!! I asked what he had done with the money and he pulled his smart altered to fit Suit up to reveal a breitling watch. It was beautiful, shiny new, almost straight away he turned and said no one has beaten me hear yet no one has been number one apart from me.

I asked him what he had achieved in new business the previous year, again with a almost smug response he answered the most ever in the company £212,000 my face dropped my palms started to sweat no wonder Charles was so happy when I said 300k what had I done!!

I told the guy I was sat with and he laughed square in my face jumped up and shouted it to everyone on the sales floor “this newbie thinks he can do £300k in a year” everyone laughed everyone pontied there finger as if to cock a gun and aim shots at me!!!

as I finished for the day I walked over to the NUMBER ONE!!! And swore that in the next 2 months I would beat him, I would beat 300k and I would have the breitling watch!!!!

with my philosophy of “PEOPLE BUY PEOPLE” I hit the phone one by one I rang everything I had whether it was small or huge it didn’t matter if I can speak to them I can sell to them I just needed them to answer.

in month one I achieved record sales for any “newbie” that had ever started with the company, 30k in new business

now it was month 2 the newbie vs the no.1 what could I do, how could I beat him, I did what every great sales person should do, these are 3 simple steps to easy sales whether new to it or a seasoned veteran –

step 1 – read about it – reading increases knowledge increasing knowledge of sales will increase results

step 2 – watch – what are the other salesman or woman doing, how are they doing it, what’s different that they do that you can adapt and use!

step 3 ask – ask the greats ask the directors how they started, when you are sales people you love nothing more than talking about yourself and your successes,

these steps will lead you into successful sales, easy sales and so much more in life.

By reading watching and asking I found that it’s not just people buying from people that works its actually being able to master a fine art !

What is this fine art you ask ?

this art is known as the “THE ART OF INFLUENCE”

The art of influence is what every sale is its every purchase, transaction, conversation that you ever have, think of a time where you have been walking down the road and you see a newspaper outside a shop with a big bold headline and a little bit of the story it grabs your attention, your interest, your desire and most of all your action because now your that influenced you have to buy the paper.

I started to use both techniques in month 2 and come the end of it, I had generated 85k In new business this was more than any sales person had ever achieved in the business this was more than 10 other sales people On the same floor with the same leads had achieved but more importantly it was 30,000 more than that “NUMBER 1” had achieved I had done it i had beaten him not just beat him but i literally eat him and spat him out.

Needless to say 300k was achieved my commissions per month were more than I had made in a year at the bank! I was hooked!

I started to want more than money my son had now been born and my family was perfect, 2 beautiful children a partner who believed in me every step of the way

I started to visualise being the head of sales for the company I was with I achieved this after 1 1/2 years with the company and to this date I still do that, I regularly host training seminars for my industry and am one of the most well known and respected people in my profession, I earn a great wage and have a great life my partner is now my wife and my children are 11 and 5

my passion now is to take any sales person good bad or ugly and make them great my biggest accomplishment to date is training people to beat my records and achieve there goals, this is why I’m starting my easy sales blog, it may only be viewed by one person in my lifetime but if what I wrote can help that one person then I have achieved my next goal of doing a blog and it being a success,

through this journey and through this blog I am going to teach each person who wants the help the ability to sell and sell well you will be a master of the easy sales strategy and will become what ever you want in life and a career.

Im telling my story first not for my own ego but to show that I’m the same as you, to show that I was not the best in sales and probably never will be, sales is something you will never master, sales is something you cannot ever turn round and say I’ve learnt everything now, that’s not true sales is there with you every second of every day and always will be

You can go on the Internet and research sales as much as you want theres a lot of stuff you will never understand but what my aim is, is too make it as easy as possible for you to become great at what you do
